Mayworks 2013 featured artists at all stages in their careers, engaged with labour, social, and political realities. The festival program committee’s goal was to include works that reflect Mayworks’ solidarity with local, national, and international campaigns such as the Idle No More movement, affordable housing, opposition to austerity measures, migrant rights, amongst others.
